What Really Is Education?

Have you ever been asked what really education is before?

May be it was from your son or from your daughter, or you may have asked that question yourself due to mere curiosity.

Whatever the case may be, it is necessary and equally important to know what really education is and it impact on us.

The word “educate” comes from the Latin word, ducere” meaning to draw out or lead.

So education simply means to draw out or lead people to their potentials or gifts in life.

What this means to me is that, a person (student), need to find out his/her gifts and then look for someone (teacher) who can draw that gifts out so to help him or her become a better person.

In other words, an educator (teacher) must and should be able to find out a person's (student) gifts/potentials and draws out from them so to make them a better person.

In most cases, you can identify a person's gifts by knowing their specific learning style.

You can learn more about how to identify your child's learning style from here:

So education is not really about “PUTTING IN” as some may think rather it is about drawing out or leading a person to his or her potentials.

It is the act of helping people to learn how to do things and encouraging them to think about what they learn. It is also the means of teaching people how to find and use information to solve their problems.

Through education, the knowledge and skills of family society, country, and of the world can be passed on from generation to generation.

With education, we can have the power and capability to be whoever and do whatever we desire. With education, we can all become special and agents of change.

Education is what helps us to improve what we consider appropriate, changes what bothers us and build upon past accomplishments. And we do all these things with one purpose: Leave a World better than the one we found.

With the development of society; education has taken many shapes, such as child education, adult education, technical education, health education, physical education and so on.

However in general terms education can be classified into three main categories.

Click on the links below and find out more about each of these categories.

  1. Nelson Mandela was a really wise person that believed that people deserved the best level of education. He contributed greatly even with this saying and he knew that real goal and value of education. I think tht everyone has his own definition of the education. As well as we all have different paths to God, we also have different methods of studying. For example, I have chosen the one with the college term papers online that allowed me get modern knowledge and have an advantage over the new era in education.

  12. Education is more than just learning facts it’s about gaining the skills and knowledge to navigate the world and make informed decisions. It’s a journey of growth. Speaking of growth, when I was working on my dissertation, I needed some extra help, so I used Dissertation Help Services for their cheap law dissertation service. They helped me with research, structure, and writing, all at a price that didn’t break the bank.
